NHS England requires that all GP Practices declare the net earnings of doctors engaged in the practice.
It should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice. It should not be used to judge GP earnings or to make any comparison with other practices.
The average pay for GPs working in Strawberry Hill Medical Centre in the 2024/25 financial year was £17,029 per session worked per annum. This is based on 6 full time GPs, 5 part time GPs and 1 locum GP who worked in the practice for more than six months.
This is before deductions for income tax, national insurance and pension contributions.
