We have temporarily suspended our usual booking system. All patients who request an appointment will receive a telephone call from a Doctor who will decide if you need a face to face appointment. Please contact us on 01635 917917, message us using the message link or book a telephone appointment online using Patient Access. Please do NOT turn up at the reception desk – you will be asked to leave the building. Telephone us instead.
To ensure that phone calls are answered as quickly as possible, please telephone after 11am for pre-bookable routine appointment requests and enquiries.
If you require a specific doctor the receptionist will advise you of the next available appointment.
Each routine appointment is 10 minutes per patient.
‘On the Day’ Appointments
The doctors encourage patients who need to see a doctor the same day to telephone the surgery as soon after 8.00 am as possible.
Patients now have access to a GP appointment during weekday evenings and weekends. To make an appointment please call Reception. Further details are available on our website.
If you need to speak to a GP but you don’t feel you need to attend the surgery, the receptionist will suggest you ask your question via the website. The GP will generally respond to you within 2 working days.
Alternatively the receptionist can arrange a routine call back with the GP, this may take 3-4 working days. Please ensure you give the receptionist as much information regarding the call back as possible.
Routine Nurse appointments can be made by telephoning the Surgery. When you telephone to book an appointment you will be asked the nature of the appointment to ensure we direct you to the most appropriate clinician. If you are unsure whether you need to see a Doctor or Nurse please ask Reception for assistance.
These appointments are booked by the midwifery team.
